By using watershed restoration techniques, followed with regenerative agriculture we can literally heal the land and sequester carbon. This leads to a healthier environment for all. We will implement and teach these techniques as well as inspiring others to do so.

Restoring watersheds consists of creating structures to slow water and collect topsoil and seeds. This rehydrates and revegetates degraded lands. Regenerative agriculture builds soils and increases diversity. When utilizing these techniques nature is a welcomed and essential partner, and the abundance is mutual.

Through regenerative agriculture techniques, this region can go from a place of scarcity to a place of abundance. Regenerative agriculture is a system of farming principles and practices that increases biodiversity, enriches soils, improves watersheds, and enhances ecosystem services. Regenerative agriculture aims to capture carbon in soil and above-ground biomass, reversing current global trends of atmospheric accumulation. In regenerative agriculture, we strive to imitate and instigate natural functioning systems.

Our demonstration site being finished and maturing is critical to the effective spread of these techniques. These are complementary techniques so demonstrating and teaching them as an integrated system is critical. We already have other locals eager to join us in our vision. We need this site to make it happen. Once these neighbors implement these practices and heal their lands we will help package and market their products.
